A Sci-Fi Point & Click Adventure Game about a guy called Max, his cat Joey and how a coffee mug can change the world.
The story of Max Greene is set in the 23rd century, 2256 to be precise. Things haven't changed much, besides flying cars and maybe having interstellar travel the world is still as crazy as it is now. You play Max Greene, an engineer working at one of the world's largest corporations Sisma Corp.
Max is a normal guy, living in the Dion district of New Harbor. One fateful morning a robot named Dave, a coffee mug and a cat named Joey are enough to turn his life upside down and change the future forever.
Max Greene plays like a classic Point & Click Adventure Game but its graphic style is based on games like Flashback and Another World.
· Pixel Art (320px x 180px; can be played in full screen mode)
· Classic item and dialog based puzzles
· Twisted Sci-Fi plot in an immersive World
· Memorable Characters
· Cool Sci-Fi Soundtrack
· English Voice-Over
· Will be released for PC, MAC and Linux

It's so difficult to see advances if you got little time on your hands. So I finally took a month off work so I can get some stuff done for Max Greene. Lets see how far I can push it during this 30 days. I might be able to finish the demo... but I don't want to promise anything. In the end this is still gamedev and you never know what's going to happen. :) Anyways, this is going to be damn fun!!!
Here is Maxs new phone!! :)
It all started with a simple game jam entry and ended in falling in love with the characters.
This is the original Point And Click Jam entry of Max Greene made in 2 weeks. Graphics do not represent final game.Take it as a prototype that let's you...

Hi Doobie and thank you!!! More updates coming soon. :)
Really enjoyed the prototype interested in seeing how this developes. Something that might inspire you is the pixel art cyberpunk game coming out The Last Night Oddtales.net has a wonderful pixel art sci fi aesthetic.
Thank you very much for trying out the prototype. Happy you liked it! I saw The Last Night and it looks amazing. Cannot wait to get my hands on that one! :)
Hey dude! Played the prototype, it was great, really left me hanging at the end. I assume Joey made it alright? He must've! Well, it so happens that I'm also working on an adventure game which features a cat sidekick that looks very similar to Joey :)) I guess we adventure makers love b&w cats. Our Kitteh is inspired by our real life cat, is you Joey too? Looking forward to playing the full version of this! Cheers!
Hehehe... Joey is a mix of all the cats I have lived with over the years. Your game looks really great btw. Demo is coming in May? :)
